Fresh, radiant, and effortlessly chic, Onda de Mar captures the essence of a wave kissed by the morning sun. It opens with a vibrant splash of bergamot and orange, lifted by a clean aquatic breeze that instantly transports you to the coast. At its heart, juicy cassis adds a burst of tart fruit, while a whisper of saffron lends an unexpected golden warmth. The drydown is smooth and grounded—amber glows against the earthy depth of vetiver and the creamy elegance of sandalwood.

LP’s Take: Onda de Mar translates to “sea wave” in Italian, and yes, this is a lovely marine-forward perfume; however, it has a delicate sweetness that was unexpected. The typical oceanic fragrance this is not, instead it holds its own as a misty, almost cotton candy-like aquatic perfume. A golden amber plays with cassis, giving a bright, flirty tone, like sunshine flickering on the ocean. But it’s still softer, with the citrus notes appearing juicy rather than sharp. We also detect a tad more fruit than the brand’s official notes suggest, something like pineapple or delicate lychee, to accompany the cassis. Very pretty, very unisex, very perfect for the warm weather.
