Requirements:
A proven track record of working in sales -OR- willingness to work and grow in sales
High level of professionalism and accountability (arriving at work on time, greeting guests with a smile, quickly attend to customer needs, knowledgeable of products and services)
Proficiency in English
Curiosity and desire to learn
Excellent communications skills and ability to work well with a variety of people
Desire to work with perfume
Ability to overcome rejections
Must be amenable to constructive criticism
Must be available to work on some holidays and all weekends (respectfully divided between team members)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Polished and well-groomed appearance
Teachable Responsibilities (these are teachable things, and are not requirements for applying, but you must be a willing participant!):
1. Achieve Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed individual monthly and annual sales targets.
Contribute to the overall store goals.
Sell related and complementary products to enhance customer purchases.
2. Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Be congenial with customers and La Parfumerie staff
3. Product Knowledge:
Have in-depth knowledge of all products and brands in the store.
Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and special offers.
4. Store Maintenance:
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
5. Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions (when outside of work hours, you will receive your hourly pay).
6. Transaction Processing:
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
7. Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers through SMS and calls.
Be proactive by knowing what customers liked and keeping a wish list for them, or recommending a new fragrance that you know they will love.
8. Order Handling:
Receive and package online orders in a neat and timely manner.
9. Company Marketing and Social Media:
Be willing to be photographed or videotaped for social media.
Maintain neatly dressed attire with your best appearance forward for a variety of photos and videos of you and the store.
Willingness to speak on social media about our store’s products.
