Nasomatto is the project of Alessandro Gualtieri, representing a radical and rule-breaking approach to perfumery.
Here, fragrance is treated as an art form with no formulas, no note lists, and no compromises.
Gualtieri describes his process as one of deliberate surrender.
He begins each creation but allows the ingredients to make their own choices.
The goal is to craft perfumes that possess an intelligence of their own, rather than simply obeying the perfumer’s intention.
