Composition: Incense, Saffron, Nutmeg and Cardamom, Ambergris, Cypriol (Nagarmotha) Oil, Rose, Ambrette Seed (Musk Mallow) and Jasmine, Animalic Notes, Agarwood (Oud), Leather, Gurjan Balsam, Himalayan Nard (Jatamansi) and Vetiver
 
Saffron and nutmeg lead the charge here, with a clean and slightly spicy opening. The warm heart hereof incense and amber sets the stage for an assertive dry down of oud and leather. Like a warm broth of a fragrance. 
 
LP’s Take: Meo has a mastery over incense notes in his fragrances and Varanasi is no exception. This is a thick room filling incense here; think holy censers and a sauna, and is spicy to boot. Not a fragrance to be worn with flip flops shorts or t shirts, think cloak and scepter.
