LP’s Take: We have fallen hard for this God Father! Without reading the notes, we all assumed there was mango or pineapple - even black cherry - in Il Padrino, but alas, its just the perfect combo of black currant and bergamot with resinous and rich labdanum, rum, and benzoin. Along with patchouli and a dry amber, these resins lend a dark, mysterious quality to this fruit-forward concoction. Its giving danger in the shadows, an illicit affair, or a tiki speakeasy brimming with scandalous dealings. This is a power fragrance and not for the faint of heart.
