Maison Tahite put on the serious face for this one. Bitter cardamom and coffee at the top, not a wet coffee but dry coffee grounds and cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle. Faint florals from some rose and jasmine, but these quickly reveal a tonka patchouli and leather core. Friendly, but librarian friendly, a very smart kindness here. 
 
LP's take: Barnes and Noble smell. Any store that sells coffee and book. Papery and coffee like and  dry woods. Take a bookshelf from a coffee shop and turn it into liquid and that’s what this is. Bookish and uplifting, sharp and bracing and very VERY intelligent fragrance here.
